Woodchuck Summer Cider

Summer beers are refreshing in the heat, but sometimes a man (or woman so that people know I’m not sexist, I’m racist though…kidding) just wants something other than beer. Wine is a nice alternative, but let’s be honest…it makes you look a little smug. I always love a good hard cider when I’m not in the mood for beer and it’s a great tasting alternative. Normally I go right for Woodchuck’s Amber Cider, but there are some other great hard ciders such as Magners and Strong Bow.

I have noticed over the years that Woodchuck has some other flavors of their hard cider. They have the classic Amber, Granny Smith, Pear, and a couple of others I can’t remember. Check out their website to see all their flavors. One flavor I had never seen before was their Summer Limited Edition. I had no idea what this could possibly taste like since there was no sign on the bottle or package to what the flavor was. But then I noticed the little yellow strip on the corner of the package saying Blueberry Flavored. I LOVE blueberries and will hate everyone who thinks otherwise.

I picked up a six pack…and then another a week later, so obviously I loved it. It’s a wonderful tasting hard cider with a hint of blueberry and is my go to from now on in the summer, when I don’t want a beer. This limited release is probably going to end soon so get out there and try this fast! You won’t regret it, unless you hate blueberries.
