So I know in my last post I made a bold statement saying Post Road was my favorite pumpkin beer…whelp I was wrong. I’m gonna have to hold off on making claims like that till I have tried them all. I say this because Saranac’s Pumpkin Ale was better than Post Road’s by far. Saranac’s Pumpkin Ale has a real nice pumpkin taste with a bit more spice and a nice aroma of cinnamon. It has a nice sweet start with a spicy and hoppy finish, and the pumpkin taste it noticeable, but not overpowering, making this pretty darn good. Also the packaging is probably my favorite of all the others, simple and classic. So grab a six-pack of this, go sit outside on the deck, watch the leaves fall and wait for the Great Pumpkin.
